Important! Update on VIPS (volunteer approval)
Fairwood Families,

If you have been waiting to be approved to volunteer through the new VIPS program that is online and you haven’t received notification of that, it’s because there’s a delay in the system to process the paperwork. If you have completed the online form and would like to start volunteering in the classroom, please first clear that with your student’s teacher, then come to the office to complete paper version of the criminal disclosure form. We will need to check your ID to match it to the one uploaded into the VIPS program, then we’ll process the papers. Sorry for the delay, and hopefully things will be working correctly soon!

Please contact the office with any questions you may have.

Thank you!

Help Washington State PTA Speak Up For Kids!

Please complete this quick online survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/R8Z2HWG

Our vision is to make every child's potential a reality. PTA works in classrooms and communities across the state, but we also advocate in Olympia for the well-being and education of all children. Every fall, the association selects its legislative priorities, and hearing from you is a valuable step in the process. Your responses will assist voting delegates who attend Legislative Assembly in Olympia October 21-22, 2016 in setting the 2016-17 legislative platform. Survey closes October 6, 2016 at 12:15pm.

Questions? Please contact Chris Scheirer, Fairwood PTSA Legislative Chair
